Scope:
The mounting numbers of farmers suicides in Andhra, Maharashtra, Kerala and some even in Punjab are simply startling. IFA has supported Suma Josson's efforts to investigate and document the nature and background of this tragedy. Based on work done over a two year period she has completed two documentaries. IFA is now in communication with several groups working on this issue in the areas of greatest distress to identify and develop a proactive plan to extend genuine relief. |
